It is a densely populated city with many historical monuments and one of the most liked cities by tourists. This city is also known as City of pearl. If you are planning to visit South East Asia then Manila is one city that you cannot afford to miss.

Another reason to visit Manila is the beaches and adventure destinations surrounding the city. If you feel uncomfortable in the city for whatever reason then gateway camping is one thing that will certainly make you feel at ease. Beach camping in Manila is popular for leisure, relaxation and de-cluttering yourself from the surrounding. You would love to be here, here are some best Camping sites near Manila.

Camping sites near Manila:

1. Puting Buhangin (Kwebang Lampas)
It is located in Pagbilao, Quezon. It is a one of the best Camping site which is often visited by campers from around the world. It is also known as Paradise of Campers due to its clear water accompanied by white sand, clear blue sea with rocky ends and with big and beautiful coconut trees. The summer is considered as the best time to visit this place. You may also find a lot of camper and travelers to share your trip.

2. Burot Beach in Calatagan
This is one of our favorite camping places near Manila. It offers you a silent place where you can relax and enjoy the serene beauty of this Island. This beach is famous for its privacy; you can have a great family time. A boat, a rod, and hook may boost the pleasure of your stay at this beach. We would highly recommend you to bring a camping tent, a suitable camping cot and other necessary camping accessories.

3. Dampalitan Island
There are beaches where you can have overnight camping. To reach this island you must take a boat which brings a lot of great views. When you first reach the island, you will see casuarina trees (sea pines). You must not forget to bring a rope, a mat and a flashlight. The island is pretty much isolated from the world. The most amazing thing about this island is the food; you will really love fresh sea food on this island. At the night the amazing sky may blow your mind.

4. Fortune Island (Nasugbu, Batangas)
It is an abandoned place which attracts a lot of tourists. It is a historical island where people use to lead their life once. The island is little pricey, but a great place if you are ready to shed few extra bucks. The island is famous for its limestone cliff and clear water. Visiting this place is great for your mind. It will freshen up your mind and mood.

5. Snake Island (aka Colibra Island, Pangasinan)
Don’t go by its name, this island is called Snake Island because of its shape. It’s completely safe to camp here. It is not amongst the popular islands but still is an excellent camping site. It is a tiny island which is surrounded by creamy sand and turquoise water. The island is so small that you can complete the island tour in just 30 mins.
